Job summary

ABB is seeking a Maintenance professional to support the Maintenance team in Jonesboro, AR. You will follow maintenance guidelines, improve equipment and production line efficiency, and perform safety-sensitive duties in accordance with state regulations.

The role emphasizes responding to emergencies, performing preventative maintenance, and documenting issues to ensure reliable operations. Candidates should have a HS Diploma or GED, and 4–6 years of mechanical experience (or a state license).

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 4–6 years of mechanical experience and/or a state license, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• One year certificate from college or technical school and/or a state license.

Responsibilities

• Respond to emergencies/breakdowns.
• Complete preventative maintenance tasks and log them in a digital CMMS system.
• Report recurring problems with machinery and equipment.
• Outline problems with parts that can be identified and addressed for record-keeping.
• Set calibration and adjusting equipment, machinery, and instruments to meet production specifications.

Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to support the Maintenance team. Each day, you will conduct activities according to agreed maintenance guidelines and procedures. You will also showcase your expertise by increasing the overall efficiency of the equipment and production line.

This is a Safety Sensitive position under the Arkansas Medical MarijuanaAmendment of 2016.

You will be mainly accountable for:

• Responding to emergencies/breakdowns.
• Completing preventative maintenance tasks and logging them within a digital CMMS system.
• Reporting all recurring problems with machinery and equipment.
• Outlining problems with parts that can be identified and addressed for record-keeping.
• Setting calibration and adjusting equipment, machinery, and instruments to comply with production specifications and instructions.

Qualifications for the role

• High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED).
• A minimum of four to six years of mechanical experience and/or a state
  license, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• One year certificate from college or technical school and/or a state license.
