Job summary

Regal Rexnord is seeking a skilled onsite Maintenance Technician to support the plant's mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems. You will perform preventive maintenance, repairs, and facility upkeep to ensure safe, efficient operations across production.

The role requires hands-on expertise, strong problem-solving abilities, and adherence to safety standards. Occasional local travel may be needed to supplier sites or training events.

Qualifications

  • AS degree preferred in Industrial Maintenance or Engineering.
  • Additional years in industrial maintenance with knowledge in electrical, mechanical hydraulics and pneumatics with skilled trade certification/license in lieu of degree.
  • Working knowledge of lean manufacturing and total preventative maintenance.

Responsibilities

  • Continually improve safety record with a proactive approach to safety issues.
  • Maintain and improve housekeeping in all areas.
  • Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
  • Performs routine lubrication, care, cleaning and preventive maintenance of facilities and production equipment.
  • Controls downtime by informing production scheduling of routine preventive maintenance.
  • Make necessary repairs or alterations to plumbing, hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical systems, heating, and air conditioning and ventilation units.
  • Performs facility maintenance such as snow removal, painting, plumbing, etc.
  • Assists with the installation and placement of new equipment and removal or movement of existing equipment.
  • Locates sources of problems by observing mechanical devices in operation; listening for problems; using precision measuring and testing instruments; examining form and texture of parts
  • Removes defective parts by dismantling devices; using hoists, cranes, and hand and power tools
  • Adjusts functional parts of devices and control instruments by using hand tools, levels, plumb bobs, and straight edges.
  • Fabricates repair parts by using machine shop instrumentation and equipment
  • Conserves maintenance resources by using equipment and supplies as needed to accomplish job results
  • Maintains equipment, parts, and supplies inventories by checking stock to determine inventory level; anticipating needed equipment, parts, and supplies; placing and expediting orders; verifying receipt
  • Prepares mechanical maintenance reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends.
  • Participates in Kaizen events, cross functional projects as assigned
  • Willing and able to travel occasionally (less than 10%) locally or regionally to supplier and/or other sites, professional development, or training activities

Job description

Work Model: This is a fully onsite role, with work performed at your designated Regal Rexnord office.

SUMMARY: Our maintenance team is responsible for the physical plant and its equipment. A work day has plenty of variety throughout the day including work with hydraulics, pneumatics, mechanical and electrical maintenance including repairs to equipment and upkeep of plant facilities.

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE CREDENTIALS:
  • AS degree in Industrial Maintenance or Engineering preferred
  • May consider additional years of industrial maintenance experience including knowledge in electrical, mechanical hydraulics and pneumatics with skilled trade certification or license in lieu of degree
  • Working knowledge of lean manufacturing and total preventative maintenance
