Job summary

Coast Property Management is seeking a diligent Maintenance Technician to support Seola Crossing I & II, Salmon Creek, Eastbridge, and Sixth Place properties in Everett. You’ll perform make-ready, inspect grounds, and respond to repairs with supervision.

You should have experience in property maintenance, basic plumbing and painting, own tools, reliable transportation, and the ability to coordinate with residents and staff to keep communities welcoming and safe.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in property maintenance preferred.
• General knowledge of painting and drywall patching.
• Minor appliance skills.
• Familiarity with plumbing repairs - change disposals and faucets.
• Own and maintain your own tools.

• Assist with apartment make-ready procedures.

• Make repairs or replacements as necessary with Supervisor approval.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assist with apartment make-ready procedures

• Able to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form
• Previous experience in property maintenance preferred
• General knowledge of painting and drywall patching
• Minor appliance skills
• General knowledge about building equipment
• Able to evaluate deficiencies such as excessive wear or troubleshoot faulty parts
• Familiarity with plumbing repairs - change garbage disposals and replace faucets
• Handle service calls in a timely manner
• Good safety habits
• Own and maintain your own tools
• Must have reliable transportation
• Able to speak to residents and maintain good working relations with other team members and any contract laborers working on the property
