Position Summary

The Maintenance Technician I, II, or III is responsible for performing a wide range of duties to install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production and facility equipment. This role supports the achievement of the plant's business goals through adherence to safety standards, predictive maintenance, and productive work practices.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Follow all safety rules at all times, using PPE as required; maintain a clean and orderly work area; inspect equipment prior to use and report discrepancies.
  2. Perform duties in alignment with the company's core values.
  3. Provide emergency and unscheduled repairs during production, and perform scheduled maintenance.
  4. Perform basic machinist duties and responsibilities.
  5. Apply mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic skills for repairs and maintenance.
  6. Read and interpret manuals and work orders to diagnose issues, replace parts, and perform adjustments; conduct plumbing and carpentry tasks as needed.
  7. Utilize hand and power tools, electrical meters, aerial lifts, and material handling equipment safely and effectively.
  8. Detect operational faults and defective materials; report issues and unusual situations.
  9. Complete tasks accurately, minimizing safety and quality defects.
  10. Perform any other assigned duties.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Completion of Maintenance Apprentice program or technical certification, or equivalent experience.
  • 2-4 years of maintenance experience in manufacturing.
  • Successful completion of pre-employment assessments and screenings.
  • Valid driver's license and forklift operation ability.
Preferred Skills and Experience

Experience with robotics, factory automation, troubleshooting and repairing photo eyes, motor starters, relays, sensors, timers, solenoids, servos, VFDs, scales, tachometers, and encoders is preferred. Additional knowledge in lean manufacturing, PLC troubleshooting, and programming is a plus.
