Job summary

Sargento is hiring for a 2nd shift Maintenance Technician at the Kiel Plant (2pm-10pm, Mon-Fri, with weekend based on business needs). A $5,000 sign-on bonus is offered.

The role focuses on preventative and predictive maintenance of electrical and mechanical systems, ensuring safety, quality, and production standards are met. You will work in a team environment, lead process improvements, and participate in continuous improvement initiatives and root-cause analysis.

Qualifications

• Requires practical expertise in electrical and mechanical maintenance.
• Experience with GMP practices and safety standards.
• Ability to read electrical diagrams and mechanical schematics.
• Familiarity with predictive maintenance concepts.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe working environment and comply with GMP practices.
• Troubleshoot and repair manufacturing equipment to maximize uptime.
• Interpret diagnostics from maintenance tools and document results.
• Perform preventive maintenance and part replacements in-kind.
• Enter tasks and track work orders in the CMMS.
