Job summary

Novolex is seeking a Maintenance Specialist in the Saint Charles, MO area to troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical components across manufacturing equipment. You will install, service, and adjust plant machinery, ensuring continuous operations and safety compliance.

Qualified candidates have a minimum of 5 years in maintenance with strong problem-solving abilities, basic computer skills, and the ability to work independently or in teams within a high-volume production environment.

Qualifications

• 5 years related experience
• High Degree of mechanical ability and aptitude with proven ability to troubleshoot and perform repairs on electrical and mechanical equipment
• Basic computer skills
• Demonstrated problem solving skills

Responsibilities

• Diagnose mechanical and electrical problems across manufacturing equipment and repair plant systems
• Understand schematics, prints, and drawings for installation and repair of equipment
• Examine equipment to diagnose trouble and perform repairs
• Disassemble, repair, and test facility machinery
• Assist electricians as needed and maintain a clean work area
• Follow lock-out/tag-out safety procedures and work in team environment
