Job summary

Nestlé Purina operates a large-scale maintenance team at the Crete, Nebraska facility. The Maintenance Technician role covers electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and instrumentation systems to ensure reliable plant operations.

You will troubleshoot motors and PLCs, use diagnostic tools, and perform predictive maintenance to support production across packaging, processing, and utilities. Night/weekend shifts and a competitive benefits package are available.

Qualifications

6+ months of maintenance experience in a manufacturing/technical environment or a 2-year technical degree completed.

Responsibilities

Maintenance of plant systems: mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and instrumentation.
Troubleshoot electrical controls systems including motors and PLCs.
Use test equipment such as multimeters, megohmmeters, and process simulators.
Repair gear reducers, belt and screw conveyors, chain elevators, and packaging equipment.
Maintain wastewater system, boiler operations, cooling towers, and general building needs.
Complete predictive maintenance such as vibration analysis and oil sample collection.
