Your Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain, install, and troubleshoot process equipment systems including pumps, agitators, heat exchangers, tanks, reactors, piping, valves, and other mechanical systems.
  • Ensure operation of process equipment by completing preventive and predictive maintenance, following diagrams, manuals, manufacturer's instructions, and specifications; troubleshoot malfunctions.
  • Monitor, repair, maintain, and document all field mechanical equipment, including safety and power systems.
  • Remove defective parts using hoists, cranes, hand and power tools; examine parts for form and texture.
  • Determine changes in dimensional requirements of parts by inspecting used parts with measuring instruments.
  • Complete and close work orders properly in the CMMS system.

You bring
  • High School Diploma or GED with at least 10 years of mechanical maintenance experience in chemical, food, or pharmaceutical manufacturing, specifically with rotating equipment. Preferred: Reliability Maintenance Techniques, technical/mechanical training, GMP experience.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical procedures, regulations, and write reports and manuals. Effective communication skills.
  • Mathematical skills, including fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions.
  • Proficiency in Word, Excel, and CMMS systems.
  • Availability to work 12 PM to 8 PM EST, Monday to Friday, with weekend work as needed.
