• Location: Fort Smith Slaughter
• Shift: 1st Shift SUN-THU 12:00p - 9:00p
• Salary: $20.00-$27.50/hour based on assessment

Position Summary

This role involves installing, maintaining, and repairing machinery, equipment, and piping/electrical systems in a commercial or industrial setting. Responsibilities include:

• Visually inspecting machinery and support equipment prior to use
• Testing machinery after repair and before use
• Troubleshooting inoperable or malfunctioning machinery to find root causes, including listening for unusual sounds, feeling for vibrations, and communicating with users
• Dismantling and repairing machinery and equipment, installing parts, and reassembling
• Performing preventative maintenance, including cleaning and lubricating parts
• Installing and repairing electrical systems and components
• Maintaining piping systems and related hydraulic and pneumatic equipment
• Repairing gauges, valves, and pressure regulators
• Maintaining the physical structure of the establishment
• Operating cutting and welding equipment
• Using machine tools for fabrication and repair
• Performing other duties as assigned
