Main Responsibilities and Accountabilities

Knowledge of Sheetfed / Jet Press mechanics is a PLUS

1. Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on production equipment.
2. Perform minor building, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and painting repairs as necessary.
3. Implement preventative maintenance measures.
4. Operate machine shop equipment, including drill press, grinders, band saw, hydraulic press, and hand power tools.
5. Troubleshoot and repair control systems, including relays, switches, sensors, and solenoids.
6. Maintain drive systems on machines for both AC and DC drives; be knowledgeable of motor types and sizes.
7. Disassemble, relocate, and re-assemble major production equipment.
8. Be available for after-hour emergencies.
9. Train technicians in all essential functions.
10. Work with the Safety Manager to maintain MSDS files and manage accordingly.
11. Able to work well with minimal supervision.
12. Prioritize tasks and follow specified procedures.
13. Perform duties including standing for most of the shift, repetitive hand and wrist motions, reaching, lifting up to 50 pounds, and possibly working overtime.
14. Perform other duties as assigned by management.
15. Follow company safety policies and procedures while executing responsibilities.
