Job summary

Qualifications

• 2 years of experience in industrial maintenance with electrical, electronics, and mechanical equipment or coursework/certification in related areas.
• Coursework or certification in industrial maintenance, electronics, electrical, mechanical automation, mechatronics or related fields.
• Preferred: Active industry-recognized certification such as CRMT or MCET.

Responsibilities

• Communicate with individuals or groups verbally and in writing and complete work orders and records per procedures.
• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on equipment including lift trucks, pneumatic systems, material handling and electrical equipment.
• Operate material handling equipment and battery equipment.
• Clean and maintain grounds, parking lots, and facilities.
• Read technical drawings and schematics to repair or maintain equipment.
• Change industrial batteries and maintain battery systems.
• Assist other maintenance technicians in repair and maintenance tasks.
• Troubleshoot complex equipment problems where repairs are not obvious.
