Job description

Maintenance Technician

Shift Available: 2nd(2p-1030a)

Wages Starting at over $35 per hour

To help us drive excellence, you’ll get to:

·Maintains Shop Floor Competency standards

·Perform preventative maintenance as required

·Troubleshoot and repair of mechanical breakdowns of equipment using PC/PLC ladder logic

·Troubleshoot and repair hydraulic and pneumatic systems

·Works with Supervisor on project to eliminate the repetitive Downtime.

· Coordinates with other Departments for access to equipment to complete PM’s and WO’s.Verifies that Safety & Quality PM’s and WO’s are completed first when issuing out PM’s and WO’s.

·Communicates equipment issues to oncoming shift. Email report from the Maintenance personnel’s activities from that Shift.

·Process hourly/daily paperwork in MLS/EAM as required.

This full-time hourly role is a part of our Maintenance Team and reports to the Maintenance Supervisor.

Required experience:

·Completion of formal apprenticeship program or equivalent to 8 years’ experience

  • Excellent time management skills with the ability to multi task and prioritize
  • Excellent communication skills as evidenced in associate relations, team skills, and have the ability to interface directly with associates to resolve issues
  • Ability to work independently, self-starter with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
