Maintenance Technician

Albertville Plant II

2nd Shift 2:30p-- 11:30p (Based on Experience)

Position Summary

Installs, maintains, and repairs machinery, equipment, and piping/electrical systems in commercial or industrial establishments:

• Visually inspects machinery and support equipment prior to use
• Tests machinery and supporting equipment after repair and prior to use
• Troubleshoots inoperable or malfunctioning machinery and supporting equipment to detect root cause, including listening for unusual sounds, feeling for vibration, and communicating with users about issues
• Dismantles, repairs, and reassembles machinery and equipment
• Cleans and lubricates machine parts as part of Preventative Maintenance
• Installs and repairs electrical apparatus and components
• Repairs and replaces gauges, valves, and related equipment
• Operates cutting torch or welding equipment
• Sets up and operates machine tools for repairs and fabrication
• Performs other duties as assigned
