Job description

National Carwash Solutions (NCS) family has grown over the past 51 years to become North America’s largest equipment, service, and cleaning solutions provider in the car wash industry! Demand is increasing and NCS’s De Pere, WI Chemical facility is adding a second shift. As we make this growth and transition, we are looking for a Production Supervisor to lead our second shift. This role will start with a 7-4 M-F schedule, then transition to 2pm-Midnight shift Monday to Thursday as we go into production with the incremental shift. As the Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for repair of electrical; plumbing; heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC); carpentry, painting and other building systems.

Duties:

  1. Evaluates systems or facilities to determine maintenance or repairs that need to be performed
  2. Works with the Maintenance Supervisor and Facilities & Maintenance Specialist to plan work priorities, obtain necessary supplies, and assess skills needed to complete tasks
  3. Assesses building systems to plan work assignments
  4. Collaborates with team members to discuss upcoming work assignments; delegates assignments based on team members' skills and experience
  5. Ensures maintenance and repair work is completed in a safe, efficient, and timely manner
  6. Assists team members with technical issues or advanced problems with given assignments
  7. Inspects work performed by team members
  8. Tracks and logs workers' time, materials, and other resources used for inventory purposes
  9. Works with Operations Manager to coordinate topics for safety meetings
  10. Complies with all applicable OSHA, EPA, local regulatory laws, and company safety policies
  11. Management retains the discretion to add or change the duties of this position at any time

Qualifications:

  1. High school diploma or equivalent
  2. At least five years of industrial maintenance experience required
  3. Extensive knowledge of building systems, such as plumbing, electrical, and HVAC
  4. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  5. Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate
  6. Ability to identify issues and to determine repairs that are needed
  7. Ability to plan maintenance schedules for building systems
  8. Proficient with Microsoft Office or related software as needed to complete reports, logs, and inventory

Physical Requirements:

  1. Must stoop, bend, reach, walk; perform repetitive motions using hands to grasp, push, pull or do fine manipulations
  2. Required to stand for prolonged periods
  3. Intermittently lift medium to heavy weight up to 75 lbs.
  4. Intermittently required to bend and twist
