Oldcastle Infrastructure, a CRH company, is seeking a Maintenance Technician to keep production equipment running safely and efficiently. You will remove and install components, troubleshoot issues, and work with operators and technicians to address failures to maintain continuous production.

Qualifications

• Experience operating cranes and performing rigging.
• Experience with hydraulic repair work on production equipment.
• Experience with electrical systems at 460VAC and reading schematics.

Responsabilités

• Removes and installs machine components to ensure safe operation.
• Troubleshoots systems to identify causes of failure and writes repair notes.
• Collaborates with operators and technicians to address failures.
• Records malfunctions and necessary adjustments.
• Conducts test runs to verify adjustments meet quality standards.
• Maintains cleanliness and safety of tools, areas, and equipment.
• Repairs building and grounds equipment as needed for safety.
• Performs preventative maintenance on facility equipment.
• Provides information to contractors regarding maintenance tasks.
• Completes safety permits, assessments and practices for tasks.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Job Summary

The Maintenance Technician maintains the safety and functionality of machines, equipment, building and grounds to ensure efficient production of products.

Job Responsibilities

• Removes and installs machine components to ensure the safe and efficient operation of production equipment
• Troubleshoots all systems to determine causes of machine or equipment failure and recommends solutions for repair
• Collaborates with Machine Operators, Process Technicians, and Material Handlers to understand the nature of machine failures or component fabrication needs
• Records the details of machine malfunctions and the appropriate adjustments as required
• Conducts test runs of machine adjustments to ensure proper machine functionality and alignment with quality standards
• Maintains the cleanliness, functionality, and safety of maintenance equipment, tools and work areas
• Repairs building and grounds equipment, fixtures and tools as necessary to ensure the safety of all employees
• Performs preventative maintenance and inspections on facility equipment as scheduled
• Provides information to contractors regarding maintenance related functions
• Completes all required safety permits, assessments, and practices relating to assigned tasks
• Other duties may be assigned as needed

Job Requirements

• Experience in crane and rigging operations
• Experience in hydraulic and schematic repairs
• Experience working with electrical 460vac and electrical schematics
• Forklift training and certification will be provided by company as necessary
• Lockout/Tag out authorized training provided
• Hot work training provided
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs
