IHI Turbo America is seeking a skilled automation technician to join our 3rd shift maintenance team. The role focuses on keeping automated assembly lines running and ensuring facility safety and reliability.

Responsibilities include troubleshooting electrical systems, pneumatics and hydraulics, performing preventative maintenance on CNC equipment, and collaborating with Manufacturing Engineering on projects and machine moves. HS Diploma and a 2-year technical degree are preferred.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or equivalent; 2-year technical degree preferred.
• Experience with maintenance of automated assembly lines is a plus.
• Willingness to travel for training as required.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot electrical systems from 24 VDC to 480 VAC.
• Troubleshoot pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
• Perform preventative maintenance on assembly and CNC equipment.
• Install and maintain 110–480 VAC single and 3-phase systems; conduit work and wiring.
• Assist Manufacturing Engineering on collaborative tasks and machine moves.
• Maintain pneumatic and hydraulic supply lines; operate and service forklift.
• Operate aerial platform up to 35 feet; participate in maintenance trainings.

Description

IHI Turbo America is looking to grow our 3rd shift Maintenance team with an experienced automation technician.

As a maintenance technician at ITA you will be tasked with various assignments that will require you to work as an individual and as a team. These assignments will range from maintaining automated assembly lines to facility maintenance, Safety will be a paramount in every aspect of this position.

PREREQUISITES

Education: HS Diploma, 2 year technical degree preferred

PRINCIPLE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Component level troubleshooting of electrical systems 24 VDC to 480 VAC
• Troubleshoot pneumatic and hydraulic systems
• Perform preventative maintenance on assembly and CNC equipment
• Install and maintain 110VAC – 480VAC single and 3 phase systems (bending & installing conduit, pulling wire, Etc.)
• Assist Manufacturing Engineering in collaborative tasks
• Assist in moving machines
• Plumbing pneumatic and hydraulic supply systems
• Forklift maintenance
• Operation of arial platform up to 35 feet
• Attend maintenance training as required (travel)

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES

• Complete work orders within the CMMS thoroughly describing actions taken and root cause analysis
• Notify purchasing and inventory technician of any parts or tools that may need to be ordered
• Fill out P.M. forms in CMMS

Equipment operation:

• Forklift, Drill Press, Powered Hand Tools, Digital Multi-Meter, Arial Lift, Scissor Lift

The pay range provided represents the expected compensation for this position. Actual pay will be determined based on factors such as experience, skills, and qualifications, while maintaining fairness with internal pay structures. We ensure compliance with all applicable wage and hour laws, including those related to minimum pay requirements.
