Job summary

DICK’S Sporting Goods operates a distribution center in Pennsylvania. A maintenance technician role focuses on keeping conveyors, PLC systems and related assets running safely and efficiently.

The job features a Tuesday-Friday night shift (5:30p–3:30a) with a base pay of $29.55/hr plus a $1/hr shift differential. Targeted pay range reflects experience and location, with benefits offered.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree -
• 2 year vocational technical certificate or degree preferably in a mechanical or electrical application
• 3-5 years of experience
• Welding, burning, cutting
• Knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, gear boxes & PLC controls
• Familiar with DC-specific software packages (ex. Crown PM, Gage) & equipment
• Able to read & understand electrical mechanical drawings/schematics
• Good safety awareness
• Ability to stand, bend, stoop, reach, push, pull & lift up to 75 lbs.
• Experience with LOTO

Responsibilities

• Adhere to all safety requirements including OSHA standards with regards to LOTO and safe work practices.
• Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair equipment related to the facility and conveyance systems; follow PM standards and document work in the asset management system.
• Report spare parts inventory levels and daily parts usage to Maintenance leadership.
• Assist in teammate development by training junior technicians.
• Work with outside vendors to complete projects safely and timely.
• Take on other duties to support the DC's operational needs

OVERVIEW

Shift: 2B: Tuesday - Friday 5:30p - 3:30a

Rate: $29.55/hr. + $1/hr. shift dif

Job Duties and Responsibilities

• Adhere to all safety requirements including OSHA standards with regards to LOTO and safe work practices.
• Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair all equipment related to the facility and conveyance systems within the facility. Follow PM standards and document work performed for accurate record keeping in our asset management system. Areas of expertise must include PLC’s, conveyors, 3 phase electric, hydraulics, pneumatics, plumbing, and any other related equipment.
• Accurately report spare parts inventory levels and daily parts usage to Maintenance leadership to help ensure spare parts inventory is maintained.
• Assist in teammate development by training junior technicians in order to elevate their performance level while troubleshooting and repairing any related assets.
• Work closely with outside vendors in order to complete projects within the DCs in a safe and timely manor.
• Take on other duties as needed to support the DC and it’s operational needs

Targeted Pay Range: $29.55 - $42.90. Starting rate of pay may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, location, experience and position offered. The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location.
