Job summary

Tosca Services, LLC is seeking a Maintenance Technician for the Norton, MA Service Center to maintain equipment and infrastructure. The role includes troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and light facility upkeep on a 2nd shift schedule.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent, 3+ years with mechanical/electrical equipment, OSHA/LOTO knowledge, and PLC and 480V systems expertise. Competitive hourly pay and comprehensive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• At least 3 years of experience with mechanical and electrical equipment.
• Basic computer proficiency including Microsoft Office.
• Knowledge of OSHA requirements and production safety practices, including LOTO.
• Electrical knowledge including schematics, PLCs, 480v/3-phase systems, D/C motors, drives, wiring, and control logic.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and resolve equipment and manufacturing system issues with the operations team.
• Perform preventive maintenance and inspections to ensure equipment reliability and safety.
• Support building maintenance including minor plumbing, drywall, painting, cleaning, and upkeep.
• Identify and resolve recurring equipment problems with the maintenance team.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA and Tosca’s safety standards; follow Lockout/Tagout program.
• Provide occasional production line support, including wash line assistance while maintaining safety and quality standards.

What You'll Do:

As a Maintenance Technician at our Norton, MA Service Center, you’ll play a key role in maintaining the equipment and infrastructure that power our operations. Your responsibilities will include:

• Troubleshoot and resolve equipment and manufacturing system issues with our operations team.
• Performing preventive maintenance and inspections to ensure equipment reliability and safety.
• Supporting all aspects of building maintenance, including minor plumbing, drywall, painting, cleaning, and general upkeep.
• Identifying and resolving recurring equipment problems with the maintenance team.
• Ensuring compliance with OSHA and Tosca’s internal safety standards.
• Demonstrating a strong understanding of, and strict adherence to, the Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) program.
• Providing occasional production line support as needed, including temporarily assisting on the wash line to cover team member breaks and lunches, while maintaining adherence to all safety, quality, and sanitation standards.

What We Are Looking For:

We’re looking for a skilled technician who thrives in a fast-paced, purpose-driven environment. You should have:

• A high school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 3 years of experience working with mechanical and electrical equipment.
• Basic computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office.
• Knowledge of OSHA requirements and production safety practices, including LOTO.
• Electrical knowledge including schematics, PLCs, 480v/3-phase systems, D/C motors, Yaskawa A/C drives, wiring, and control logic.
• Solid understanding of industrial mechanical principles, including hydraulics, pneumatics, and controls.
• Familiarity with boilers and MIG/TIG welding is a plus.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including overtime as needed.

Pay:

• $30.00–$35.00/hour, based on experience + $0.50/hour 2nd shift differential

Work Schedule

• 2nd Shift: Monday–Friday, 3:00 p.m. – 11:30 p.m.
