Job summary

Oldcastle Infrastructure, a CRH company, is seeking a Maintenance Technician to maintain the safety and functionality of machines, equipment, and facilities for efficient production of outdoor living and infrastructure products in Ohio.

Responsibilities include removing and installing components, troubleshooting faults, coordinating with operators, recording malfunctions, and performing preventative maintenance while ensuring safety practices are followed.

Qualifications

  • Experience in crane and rigging operations.
  • Experience in hydraulic and schematic repairs.
  • Experience working with electrical 460vac and electrical schematics.
  • Forklift training and certification will be provided by company as necessary.
  • Lockout/Tag out authorized training provided.
  • Hot work training provided.
  • Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.

  • Removes and installs machine components to ensure safe and efficient operation of production equipment
  • Troubleshoots all systems to determine causes of machine or equipment failure and recommends solutions for repair
  • Collaborates with Machine Operators, Process Technicians, and Material Handlers to understand the nature of machine failures or component fabrication needs
  • Records the details of machine malfunctions and the appropriate adjustments as required
  • Conducts test runs of machine adjustments to ensure proper machine functionality and alignment with quality standards
  • Maintains the cleanliness, functionality, and safety of maintenance equipment, tools and work areas
  • Repairs building and grounds equipment, fixtures and tools as necessary to ensure the safety of all employees
  • Performs preventative maintenance and inspections on facility equipment as scheduled
  • Provides information to contractors regarding maintenance related functions
  • Completes all required safety permits, assessments, and practices relating to assigned tasks
  • Other duties may be assigned as needed

Job Summary
