Job summary

Oldcastle Infrastructure is seeking a Maintenance Technician for the 2nd shift to sustain safe, efficient operation of production machinery and facility systems. You will perform preventative maintenance, troubleshoot issues, and coordinate with operators and contractors to maintain uptime.

The role requires experience with crane/rigging, hydraulic repairs, electrical 460V work, and adherence to lockout/tagout and hot work procedures. Company benefits are offered; forklift training is provided.

Qualifications

  • Experience in crane and rigging operations.
  • Experience in hydraulic and schematic repairs.
  • Experience working with electrical 460vac and electrical schematics.
  • Forklift training and certification provided by the company.
  • Lockout/Tag out and hot work training provided.

Responsibilities

  • Removes and installs machine components to ensure safe and efficient operation of production equipment
  • Troubleshoots systems to determine causes of failure and recommends repair solutions
  • Collaborates with operators and technicians to understand machine failures
  • Records malfunctions and adjustments as required
  • Conducts test runs of machine adjustments to ensure alignment with quality standards
  • Maintains maintenance equipment, tools, and work areas for safety
  • Repairs building and grounds equipment to ensure employee safety
  • Performs preventative maintenance and inspections on facility equipment
  • Provides information to contractors regarding maintenance functions
  • Completes safety permits, assessments and related practices
  • Other duties as needed

Job Summary

The Maintenance Technician maintains the safety and functionality of machines, equipment, building and grounds to ensure efficient production of products.

Job Responsibilities
  • Removes and installs machine components to ensure the safe and efficient operation of production equipment
  • Troubleshoots all systems to determine causes of machine or equipment failure and recommends solutions for repair
  • Collaborates with Machine Operators, Process Technicians, and Material Handlers to understand the nature of machine failures or component fabrication needs
  • Records the details of machine malfunctions and the appropriate adjustments as required
  • Conducts test runs of machine adjustments to ensure proper machine functionality and alignment with quality standards
  • Maintains the cleanliness, functionality, and safety of maintenance equipment, tools and work areas
  • Repairs building and grounds equipment, fixtures and tools as necessary to ensure the safety of all employees
  • Performs preventative maintenance and inspections on facility equipment as scheduled
  • Provides information to contractors regarding maintenance related functions
  • Completes all required safety permits, assessments, and practices relating to assigned tasks
  • Other duties may be assigned as needed
Job Requirements
  • Experience in crane and rigging operations
  • Experience in hydraulic and schematic repairs
  • Experience working with electrical 460vac and electrical schematics
  • Forklift training and certification will be provided by company as necessary
