Job summary

Dana Corp is hiring for maintenance technician roles on 2nd and 3rd shifts in Napoleon, OH. The position reports to the maintenance supervisor and focuses on coordinating plant preventative maintenance and implementing continuous improvement across the manufacturing process.

Qualifications

• Troubleshooting electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems, PLCs, robotics, welding and basic fabrication.
• Minimum two to three years' experience as a maintenance/electronic/robotics technician in manufacturing.
• Mechanical experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Machine repair and set-ups/changeovers.
• Maintain machinery and handle electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
• Order and maintain spare parts inventory.
• Do mechanical/electrical troubleshooting and building maintenance.

We are currently hiring for 2nd and 3rd shift.

Rate - $35.00 /hr

This position is located in Napoleon, OH. The maintenance technician reports directly to the maintenance supervisor.

The maintenance technician will coordinate and support plant preventative maintenance systems, and implement continuous improvement activities throughout the manufacturing process.

Responsibilities

• Machine repair
• Machine set-ups and changeovers
• Maintenance of machinery including knowledge of electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic and mechanical systems
• Order and maintain spare part inventory
• Mechanical/Electrical Troubleshooting
• Building maintenance
• Ability to work with 12 VDC up to 480 VAC 3 phase power
• Maintain computerized Preventative Maintenance system
• Ergonomic improvements
• Associate training

Requirements

• Experience and skill in the following areas preferred: Troubleshooting, electrical, hydraulics, pneumatics, PLCs, robotics, welding and basic fabrication.
• Minimum two to three years' experience as a maintenance, electronic or robotics technician in a manufacturing environment.
• Mechanical experience is preferred.

Physical Demands

• Must be able to lift up to 60 lbs.
• Sitting, reaching, bending, squatting, standing and walking on cement floors daily.
