Job summary

DuPont’s Water & Protection division in Minneapolis, MN is hiring Maintenance Technicians to support routine and non-routine maintenance on manufacturing equipment. The role aligns with safety, efficiency, and continuous improvement across fluid power, PLCs, pneumatics, and electrical systems.

Shifts include 2nd shift 2:30 pm – 11 pm, with starting pay $28.50–$42/hour based on experience. This Minneapolis site requires ability to work domestically and handle on-call rotations to support 24/7

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; 2-year technical/vocational degree preferred.
• 4+ years relevant work or military experience preferred.
• Must read, write and comprehend English.
• Valid U.S. driver's license required.
• Able to wear PPE and stand/walk for extended periods; lift up to 45 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and troubleshoot site manufacturing and process equipment.
• Work with fluid power, pneumatics, PLCs, and mechanical/electrical systems.
• Coordinate troubleshooting with operations and engineers to keep site running.

Water & Protection is a leading provider of engineered products and integrated systems for the construction, worker safety, energy, oil & gas, transportation, water purification and medical markets.

We are hiring for the following shift schedule:

• 2nd Shift; Hours are 2:30 pm - 11 pm M-F
• The starting pay for this position is $28.50 - $42/hour based on experience

Maintenance Technicians are responsible for routine and non-routine maintenance activities on the sites' manufacturing and process equipment. Daily tasks include performing maintenance in the areas of fluid power, pneumatics, PLC's, mechanical and electrical systems and working with scheduling and planning software. Technicians coordinate troubleshooting efforts and strive to implement improvements with operations and engineers as needed to assure the day to day site operation.

Qualifications:

• A minimum of a High School Diploma or GED or equivalent is required; a 2-year technical/vocational degree in a related field is strongly preferred
• A minimum of four (4) years relevant professional work (electronics, maintenance, computers, aerial/air craft) or military experience, is preferred
• Must be able to read, write, and comprehend documents in English is required
• A valid U.S. driver’s license is required
• Must be willing and able to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) to include; wearing safety equipment, such as earplugs, gloves, safety glasses, hardhats, and steel-toed shoes are required
• While performing the duties of this job, you may be required to stand; walk (up and down stairs); twist; bend; stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, or climb for extended periods of time; and will require the ability to lift and/or move up to 45 pounds is required
• Ability to participate as an on-call resource for an average of 5 weeks a year to support 24/7 operations is required
• This role is located in Minneapolis, MN and may require less than 5% of travel

The Pay range for this role is $22.88 - $35.96 Hourly
