Responsibilities
- Operate, repair and maintain building electrical, mechanical, and structural equipment and systems.
- Maintain production equipment, material handling equipment, dust collection equipment, electrical controls, programmable systems/VFDs, and other related machinery.
- Perform preventive maintenance and use power and hand tools for machine repair, pipe fitting, electrical, electronic, and general maintenance tasks.
- Operate forklift and MEWP/Man Lift as required.
- Use PFAS and understand lubrication basics.
- Review and complete work order assignments, respond to verbal or written assignments from the Maintenance Supervisor or other personnel during back shift/weekend coverage, and inform supervisor of work in progress.
- Observe, report, and correct facility and equipment discrepancies; check for safety hazards and take corrective action to eliminate them.
- Maintain applicable logs, records, equipment history folders, and operation and maintenance manuals accurately and comprehensively.
- Perform any necessary tasks to ensure consistent service and complete training assignments.
- Provide emergency call INS and weekend availability as required.
- Position is eventually a second shift role.
Qualifications / Experience
- High school diploma or general education degree with trades concentration.
- 1‑5 years of relevant experience in manufacturing maintenance or industrial technology.
- Strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills.
- Ability to understand technical specifications for equipment installation and operation.
- Knowledge of clearance checks, interference fits, lubrication, torque requirements, material handling, and troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with PM procedures, Permit to Work system, pipe fitting, and lubrication basics.
- Capability to troubleshoot 24‑through‑480 V electrical systems and perform a variety of electrical/mechanical tests.
- Experience making necessary electrical installations and/or repairs.

- Background in PLC system is a plus.
- High standard of accuracy, precision, and strong organizational skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency with PC usage.
- Self‑motivated team player who can work independently and cross‑functionally.
