Alkegen is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform skilled maintenance and repair of machinery, equipment, tools, and structures at our Iowa facility. You will use test instruments, hand and power tools, and precision devices to service mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems, and support capital improvement projects.
The role requires ability to read blueprints, interpret technical drawings, and collaborate with internal teams and contractors.

Performs skilled maintenance and repair of machinery, equipment, tools, and structures. Maintains and repairs machinery and mechanical equipment using test instruments, hand and power tools, and precision measuring instruments. Work on machinery, equipment, and tools may include mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic. Facilities repair and maintenance of structures may include painting, plumbing, electrical, masonry, metal fabrication, and woodworking. Installs, maintains, and/or repairs electrical systems and fixtures, including running electrical conduit. May be involved with capital improvement and process improvement projects.
