Overview

Are you an experienced Maintenance Technician seeking a new challenge? Join our team in Fort Smith. We are looking for a motivated Maintenance Technician to respond to work orders and perform preventative and general maintenance across our plant on 2nd shift. This role is essential in keeping our machinery and equipment operating smoothly to ensure maximum productivity.

Responsibilities
  • Perform general maintenance of manufacturing equipment
  • Conduct electrical and other general maintenance of building and grounds
  • Collaborate with the Maintenance Scheduler to respond to work orders and provide dispositions
  • Troubleshoot equipment to resolve issues promptly
Qualifications
  • 2-5 years of related maintenance experience
  • Ability to frequently lift, pull, push, and carry up to 50 pounds
  • Proficiency with hand and power tools, diagnostic equipment, and maintenance software
  • Strong understanding of mechanical systems, hydraulics, and pneumatics
  • Effective problem-solving skills for diagnosing and fixing issues
  • Knowledge of safety protocols and OSHA regulations
  • Good communication skills for effective teamwork and interdepartmental collaboration
  • Willingness to work different shifts and overtime as required
  • Experience in preventative maintenance programs
