Maintenance Technician - 2nd/3rd Shift (Up to $43.09)

Job Overview

The Multicraft Maintenance Technician will be responsible for machine breakdown repairs, installations, startups, process improvements, preventative maintenance, and continuous machine enhancements. This role aims to improve machine reliability and support facility capital investments. Key tasks include troubleshooting electrical and mechanical issues, plumbing, equipment rebuilding, reading electrical and mechanical prints, and setting up precision instrumentation.

Key Responsibilities
Electrical:
  • Install and repair electrical systems and components on industrial machinery.
  • Diagnose malfunctions in transformers, motors, instrumentation, wiring, lighting, and replace damaged wires and cables.
  • Replace faulty electrical parts like relays, switches, and motors; install wiring for sensors and actuators.
  • Repair machine controls using PLCs, servo, stepper, and relay logic controls.
Mechanical:
  • Maintain pneumatic and hydraulic components on various production machines.
  • Inspect and replace worn parts, align and adjust machine components.
  • Move machinery using appropriate tools and set up metalworking tools for repairs.
  • Perform welding, brazing, soldering, and metalizing as needed.
Qualifications
  • High School diploma or GED.
  • State-approved journeyman certification in Maintenance Mechanic, Industrial Repairer, or similar.
  • Experience with CNC machinery, mechanical, welding, pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical systems.
  • Proficiency with CMMS and basic digital literacy, including Microsoft Office.
  • Organized, self-sufficient, and authorized to work in the U.S.
Preferred Skills
  • Knowledge of 120VAC, 480VAC 3-phase systems.
  • PLC troubleshooting, safety protocols, Lock Out/Tag Out, confined space, forklift operation.
