Job summary

3M is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join our global team. You will work with a variety of machine tools, perform fabrication and repair tasks, and install production equipment while ensuring safety and efficiency across facilities.

The role requires a two-year technical degree and availability for weekend, holiday, and overtime work, including fixed 2nd or 3rd shift coverage. Strong attention to safety and accurate record-keeping are essential.

Qualifications

Two (2) year technical degree or higher in a Maintenance-related field.
Interested and available on weekends, holidays, and regularly work overtime.
Interested and available to work a fixed 2nd or 3rd shift.
Interested and available to work shift coverage on short notice.

Responsibilities

Using various machine and hand tools to perform construction, fabrication, or repair work.
Reading blueprints, sketches, or verbal instructions to work with steel, sheet metal, plastic, or wood.
Performing moving and installation of plant or production equipment, including piping and set-up.
Performing general mechanical and electrical/electronic repairs and PMs on plant, facilities, and production equipment.
