The ideal candidate brings strong experience with Allen-Bradley PLC systems, PLC ladder-logic troubleshooting, hydraulics, industrial robotics, electrical/electronic systems, welding, and production-equipment repair within a manufacturing environment.
The Maintenance Technician performs skilled mechanical and electrical maintenance work involving installation, troubleshooting, repair, alignment, and preventive maintenance of manufacturing equipment and plant systems. This position requires the ability to diagnose complex mechanical, electrical/electronic, hydraulic, combustion, PLC, and robotic equipment problems and implement effective repairs designed to prevent recurring failures.
This role supports automated manufacturing and die‑casting equipment and requires the technician to work independently with PLC ladder logic, electrical and hydraulic schematics, robotics, machine‑shop equipment, and welding processes.
This role requires hands‑on experience troubleshooting Allen‑Bradley PLC‑controlled manufacturing equipment. Relevant systems include:

Relevant backgrounds may include:
Candidates must demonstrate actual hands‑on troubleshooting with SLC 500, PLC-5, and ControlLogix systems. General PLC exposure without the ability to navigate ladder logic and diagnose production-equipment faults is not sufficient.
Candidates must be capable of troubleshooting die‑casting machine cells or directly comparable automated industrial equipment using PLC information and electrical/hydraulic schematics.
Experience modifying positions and diagnosing ABB robotic‑cell problems is highly relevant. Direct experience with M94, M98, M2000, M2600, or M6700 systems should be documented whenever present.
The position requires technical or vocational preparation such as maintenance or industrial-technology coursework, a certificate program, or some college coursework. Equivalent directly related technical training should be carefully documented.
Candidates must specifically confirm which shift they are pursuing and their ability to work approximately 50–60 hours per week with expected overtime.
