Job summary

Danone is hiring a Maintenance Technician in West Jordan, UT to support Packaging, Processing, or Warehouse operations. The role involves preventative and responsive maintenance, CMMS documentation, and working a 2-2-3 schedule with night shifts 6:00 PM–6:30 AM in a 24/7 environment.

Ideal candidates have 1+ years in industrial maintenance, strong electrical/mechanical/pneumatic/hydraulic knowledge, and experience with forklifts/scissor lifts.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• 1+ years of industrial maintenance experience is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of electrical, mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulics.
• Ability to use industrial trucks (forklifts, scissor lifts, pallet jacks).
• Read and write safety rules, operating/maintenance instructions, and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to safety, health, and environmental standards; follow permit procedures.
• Use CMMS to document maintenance activities and follow up actions.
• Perform preventive, corrective, and breakdown maintenance to improve equipment performance.
• Troubleshoot equipment and faults; participate in focused improvement initiatives.
• Address faults related to ASRS, conveyors, and flow department equipment; may involve climbing up to 10 levels.
• Operate and care for tools and equipment properly; maintain a clean, safe work site.
• Respond to maintenance calls and coordinate with leadership to prioritize work.
• Communicate safety, quality concerns, and delays effectively to owners.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
