Job summary

PDM US is seeking skilled and dependable Multi-Craft Maintenance Technicians to support safe and efficient operation of manufacturing equipment and facility systems.

The role covers preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance across mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and facility systems, with expected proficiency in HVAC, pipefitting, welding, or industrial electrical.

Qualifications

• Broad industrial maintenance experience required.
• Strong skills in at least one specialty: HVAC, pipefitting, welding/fabrication, or industrial electrical.
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and manuals.
• Capable of troubleshooting mechanical and electrical systems.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain manufacturing equipment and facility systems.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic systems.
• Read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and manuals.
• Assist with machine moves, installations, and continuous improvement projects.

Position Summary

PDM US is seeking skilled and dependable Multi-Craft Maintenance Technicians to support the safe and efficient operation of manufacturing equipment and facility systems. This role performs a variety of preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance activities across mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and facility systems.

The ideal candidate will have broad industrial maintenance experience and a demonstrated strength in at least one of the following specialized trades:

• HVAC
• Pipefitting
• Welding/Fabrication
• Industrial Electrical

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain manufacturing equipment and facility systems.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and conveyor systems.
• Diagnose equipment failures and implement effective repairs to minimize downtime.
• Install, modify, and improve equipment, machinery, and facility infrastructure.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals.
• Assist with machine moves, installations, and continuous improvement projects.
• Maintain maintenance records and complete work orders accurately.
• Follow all safety policies, lockout/tagout procedures, and environmental requirements.
• Support emergency repairs as needed to maintain production operations.

Preferred Specialty Skills

Candidates should possess strong proficiency in one or more of the following:

HVAC

• Maintain and repair commercial or industrial HVAC equipment.
• Troubleshoot heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems.

Pipefitting

• Install and repair piping systems for air, water, hydraulic, gas, and process applications.
• Read piping drawings and fabricate piping runs as required.

Welding / Fabrication

• Perform MIG, TIG, and Stick welding.
• Fabricate guards, platforms, brackets, equipment modifications, and structural repairs.
• Ability to work from drawings and take field measurements.

Industrial Electrical

• Troubleshoot motors, drives, control circuits, sensors, and PLC-controlled equipment.
• Read electrical schematics and perform electrical installations and repairs.
• Experience with Siemens PLCs and industrial automation strongly preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Technical degree, apprenticeship, or equivalent experience in industrial maintenance preferred.
• Minimum 3 years of industrial maintenance experience preferred.
• Ability to troubleshoot mechanical and electrical systems independently.
• Strong understanding of hydraulics, pneumatics, bearings, gearboxes, motors, and power transmission systems.
• Ability to safely use maintenance tools, diagnostic equipment, and shop machinery.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, climb ladders, and work in industrial environments.
• Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces when required.
