Baxters North America in Salem, Oregon, is seeking a maintenance technician responsible for preventive maintenance and skilled repairs on complex production equipment. You will monitor performance, diagnose issues, and log maintenance details in the CMMS.
The role requires a high school diploma or GED, 1–3 years of related experience (5 years preferred), and training in welding, sheet metal, machine work, plumbing, electrical systems, or calibration.
This position is responsible for performing preventive maintenance and skilled repairs on complex electrical and mechanical production equipment and systems. Follows standard procedures to monitor equipment for performance, safety, and effectiveness. Performs equipment failure analysis to complete preventive and unscheduled maintenance. Troubleshoots and diagnoses equipment problems. Logs equipment modifications and maintenance details in the designated system.
Highschool diploma or GED required.
Formal training in the following: welding, sheet metal, machine work, plumbing, equipment repair, mechanical system, electrical systems, CMMS systems, and equipment calibration. Additional years of experience may substitute for training. Must have 1 to 3 years of relative experience required. Five years’ experience in a manufacturing environment preferred. Additional years of experience may substitute for training.
