Job summary

A North American animal nutrition company in Springfield is seeking a Maintenance Technician responsible for equipment inspections, preventive maintenance, and repairs. Candidates should have a high school diploma, mechanical and electrical maintenance experience preferred, and must be self-motivated with good interpersonal skills. Qualifications

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) or equivalent.
• Previous mechanical and/or electrical maintenance experience preferred.
• Working knowledge of 3 phase 480-volt electrical systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled equipment inspections and preventive maintenance.
• Troubleshoot electrical, hydraulic, and steam systems.
• Safely operate necessary equipment at all times.
