Maintenance Technician, 1st shift- Wayne, PA (USA)

Overview

As a Maintenance Technician on the first shift, located in Wayne, PA, you will perform duties related to set-up, repair, and maintenance of manufacturing tooling and equipment, ensuring high-quality products and a safe work environment. The role requires extensive experience with electrical, electronics, EPA certification, and mechanical skills, including familiarity with freeze dryers.

Responsibilities

• Install, set up, repair, and maintain manufacturing tooling and equipment.
• Develop and update maintenance procedures.
• Troubleshoot manufacturing process issues with production staff.
• Assist with general facility maintenance including plumbing, HVAC, and electrical systems.
• Maintain non-production equipment supporting manufacturing.
• Participate in on-call rotations and utilize BAS system.
• Manage vendor relations for parts and supplies.
• Provide periodic reports and updates to management.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in electrical, electronics/PLC, and refrigeration, preferably in medical device, GMP, or chemical manufacturing industries.
• Knowledge of work permitting procedures, plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and refrigeration systems.
• Proficiency with electrical testing equipment, power tools, and PLC controls.
• Excellent communication skills and computer literacy.
