Job summary

Copeland maintenance role in Rushville, IN requires a technician to repair and maintain machinery and facilities to maximize production uptime. Tasks include wiring, electrical/mechanical maintenance, and simple setup of equipment. On-call emergency maintenance may be required.

The candidate should have 1–3 years of manufacturing maintenance experience, strong troubleshooting, blueprint reading, and the ability to operate lifts and handle physical tasks. Associate degree or equivalent preferred.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of work experience in manufacturing maintenance or equivalent.
• Proficiency in hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical and electrical operations.
• Knowledge of 480V three phase, control power, AC/DC circuits, motor starters and switchgear repairs.
• Strong troubleshooting skills.
• Proficiency in shop mathematics and blueprint reading.
• Ability to operate scissor lift, boom lift and forklift.
• Lifts up to 50 lbs and works in confined spaces or at height.
• Associate’s technical degree or equivalent; gas burners and boilers knowledge is a plus.

Join our team and start your journey today!**Description**Position will be responsible for performing repairs and routine maintenance on machinery, equipment, and facilities within or outside the plant to maintain optimal up time of production equipment and upkeep of the facility. May perform wiring, plumbing, electrical/mechanical maintenance, repair, and installation. May do simple set up operation of machinery/equipment.
