Job summary

Transco Rail Services is seeking a Maintenance Technician (1st Shift) to support plant operations in an industrial setting. You’ll diagnose and repair equipment, perform preventative maintenance, and support facility systems to ensure safe, efficient production.

Ideal candidates bring 3+ years of maintenance experience, knowledge of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and hydraulic systems, and a strong safety mindset.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Minimum 3 years of maintenance or related experience.
  • Basic knowledge of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and hydraulic systems.
  • Ability to read basic drawings and perform basic math.

Responsibilities

  • Perform preventative maintenance and inspections on plant equipment.
  • Troubleshoot and repair forklifts, compressors, motors, and drives.
  • Maintain HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
  • Lubricate, oil changes, and mechanical repairs on plant equipment.
  • Support maintenance of diesel and gas-powered equipment.
  • Complete general facility maintenance and custodial duties.
  • Participate in safety inspections and communicate equipment status.
