Responsibilities

We are looking for a multi-craft Maintenance expert to join our team.

Pay: $32 depending on experience

Shift: 1st shift 7a-3p Monday - Friday, with PMs on Saturday as scheduled

When Your Actions Lead To Success

• Communicates with production personnel and supervisors regarding problems or potential problems with equipment
• Troubleshoots and repairs mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical equipment, and electronic control circuits on flexographic printing presses, bag machines, slitters, laminating equipment, etc.
• Installs, starts-up, and shuts-down equipment according to safety procedures.
• Works with equipment vendors on installation of new equipment and coordinates efforts of equipment vendors.
• Conducts daily inspections of and performs maintenance as needed on incinerator equipment, air compressors, conveyors, and compactors.
• Performs preventative maintenance on printing and converting equipment according to schedule and specifications.
• Inspects rooftop air conditioners and heating units quarterly.
• Identifies major components needed for inventory and orders parts.
• Maintains required maintenance records for equipment.
• Assists and trains other maintenance personnel as required.
  
  

Qualifications

When your expertise drives us:

• High school Diploma or equivalent education and experience.
• Minimum 3-5 years of work experience performing mechanical and electrical equipment repair on industrial manufacturing and/or commercial equipment OR advanced education or technical degree
• Experience troubleshooting and repairing machinery controlled by Programmable Logic Control (PLC) systems
• Knowledge and experience with electrical (AC/DC and high voltage equipment)
• Maintenance experience in the flexographic printing industry preferred but not required.
  
  

Additional Details

• Inks and solvents can create strong odor in the plant
• Frequent standing, walking, sitting, bending, stooping, and twisting
• Ability to exert 50 to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 25 to 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or 10 to 20 pounds of force constantly.
• Overtime may be required
