Parker HVAC Filtration Division, a part of Parker Hannifin Corporation, is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform routine and preventive maintenance on mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems to keep equipment running smoothly and safely.

Responsibilities include troubleshooting, installation, and repair of manufacturing equipment, with emphasis on 6S and compliance with company and federal safety procedures. Strong technical skills and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• HS Degree or GED.
• Associates degree in a technical field or technical certification required.
• Minimum 3 years experience in industrial maintenance.
• Leadership experience a plus.
• Ability to use and maintain CMMS.
• Ability to read blueprints/schematics.
• Ability to communicate in English.

Responsibilities

• Maintains production and quality by troubleshooting, installing, and repairing mechanical manufacturing equipment.
• Oversees pneumatic, electrical, mechanical and hydraulic equipment operations.
• Maintains facilities and grounds in a clean, efficient manner.
• Performs preventive maintenance on motors, conveyors, and production machines per manuals and specs.
• Maintains inventory for parts and supplies; procures as needed.
• Supports safety by following 6S and OSHA guidelines.

Position Summary

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing routine and preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems to ensure optimal operation of equipment and facilities. This role requires strong technical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team to minimize downtime and maintain a safe working environment. The Maintenance Technician supports operational efficiency by promptly addressing equipment malfunctions and implementing effective solutions.

Responsibilities

Essential Duties:

• Maintains production and quality requirements by performing troubleshooting, installation, routine maintenance and repair of mechanical manufacturing equipment.
• Responsible for pneumatic, electrical, mechanical and hydraulic operations of equipment.
• Maintains facilities and grounds in a clean, well-kept and efficient operating manner as needed.
• Ensures operation of machinery and mechanical equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements on motors, pneumatic equipment, conveyor systems, and production machines; following diagrams, sketches, operations manuals, manufacturer's instructions, and engineering specifications; troubleshooting malfunctions.
• Maintains equipment, parts, and supplies inventories by checking stock to determine inventory level; anticipating needed equipment, parts, and supplies; placing and expediting orders; verifying receipt.
• Provides mechanical maintenance information by answering questions and requests.
• Maintains safe and clean working environment by implementing 6S. Complies with all Company and Federal safety procedures, rules, and regulations.
• Other duties not listed herein but which need to be accomplished to maintain safe and timely day-to-day operations of the plant.
• Liases with EHS and OSHA to ensure safety compliance.

Responsibilities:

• Maintains safe and clean working environment by implementing 6S. Complies with all Company and Federal safety procedures, rules, and regulations.
• Assist other Maintenance Technicians install and maintain production machinery and other plant equipment.
• Assist other Maintenance Technicians perform emergency/unscheduled repairs.
• Responsible for mechanical troubleshooting on equipment.
• Responsible for providing your own basic tools (specialty tools will be provided by the company).
• Able to perform essential job functions outside of normal working hours.
• Other duties not listed herein but which need to be accomplished to maintain safe and timely day-to-day operations of the plant.

Qualifications

Education and Experience Requirements:

• HS Degree or GED
• Associates degree in a technical field or technical certification required
• Minimum 3 years experience in industrial maintenance
• Previous leadership experience a plus
• Ability to work independently of others (with limited supervision), as well as with a team to resolve issues.
• Ability to use and maintain a computerized maintenance work order system (CMMS).
• Ability to interpret and work from blueprints and schematics.
• Ability to communicate in English

Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:

• May be required to lift up to approximately 50 pounds
• Must be able to stand at work station for a long period of time
• Must be able to use both hands in a repetitive motion
• Must be able to bend and crawl under equipment consistently
• Must be able and willing to operate a scissor lift or be willing to get certified
• Must be able to work in a manufacturing environment with exposure to noise, fumes and dust particles
• Must be able to travel throughout the facility to obtain information needed to perform job functions
