Job summary

MCC is seeking a Maintenance Tech/Electrician to keep production equipment running efficiently at our Georgia facility. The role requires reading electrical schematics, performing preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting during downtime in a multi-shift environment.

You will support reliability improvements, safety, and uptime while collaborating with maintenance and operations teams. Physical work involves lifting up to 50 pounds and navigating busy production floors.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in electrical, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic applications.
• Ability to read electrical schematics; vocational maintenance training certificate preferred.
• Basic knowledge of computers and operating systems.
• Ability to multi-task and identify and implement process improvements.
• Strong problem-solving skills to assess product output relative to specifications.
• Physical ability to climb stairs, bend, sit, stand, walk, reach with arms, push, pull and handle material for extended periods.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly.
• Includes ability to stoop, squat, crawl and kneel as needed.
• Position requires frequent walking.

Responsibilities

• Provides emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production.
• Performs scheduled maintenance repairs of production equipment during machine service in a multi-shift environment
• Performs duties including, but not limited to mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic troubleshooting and repair of machines
• Supports an optimized production environment by applying Lean Manufacturing and 5S principles
• Responsible for maintaining and performing repairs to the facility
• Participates in special projects and performs other duties as assigned

MCC is looking for a Maintenance Tech/Electrician. The main duties of the Technician are to ensure that all electrical schematics and instrumentation are calibrated and current, troubleshooting during unscheduled equipment downtime, repairs and complete preventive maintenance service.

• Must have ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds repeatedly and regularly.
• Includes the ability to stoop, squat, crawl and kneel as needed
• This position requires frequent walking.
