Qualified candidates should have a High School diploma and at least six months of maintenance experience; read blueprints; work with pneumatics, hydraulics, HVAC and general maintenance; plus basic math and the ability to follow written and verbal instructions.

  • Must be able to read blueprints and possess prior experience working with pneumatics, hydraulics, HVAC and general maintenance
  • Able to do basic mathematics
  • Able to read and comprehend simple instructions, correspondence, and memos
  • Able to understand and carry out verbal instructions
  • Able to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct assigned preventative maintenance at regular intervals and fulfill recordkeeping.
  • Maintain plant property and grounds conditions, including storm damage, trash removal, and snow removal.
  • Make pick-ups and deliveries for maintenance team using company vehicles.
  • Perform minor electrical and other utilities installations.
  • Perform facility maintenance as needed.
  • Remove, replace, and/or repair building and equipment and their working components.
  • Support the operation of boilers, chillers, cooling towers, air compressors, heating systems, ventilation systems and cooling systems.
  • Support the plant with all sanitation needs.
  • Follow standard operating procedures to ensure proper quality of work and efficiency.

SUMMARY OF POSITION:

The Maintenance Technician installs, repairs, and maintains equipment in the facility. This role works in cooperation with all departments in order to provide excellent customer service and meet customer needs. This position requires regular and recurrent attendance - minimum of 40 hours per week.
