Job summary

Award Staffing is seeking a Maintenance Technician in Burnsville, MN for a 1st shift, Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm role with optional overtime and on-call emergencies every six weeks. The position is a direct hire with a salary range of $50,000 to $60,000 per year.

Responsibilities include performing maintenance across electrical, plumbing and carpentry, servicing boilers and pools if applicable, ensuring units are ready for move-ins, and maintaining clear communication with residents and staff.

Qualifications

• Three years’ working experience in residential property management maintenance.
• Basic understanding of electrical, plumbing, and carpentry.
• Working knowledge of HVAC systems.
• Follow oral and written instructions.
• Ability to communicate with residents, co-workers, and management.
• Regular, on-time attendance.
• Valid and Current Driver's License and Proof of insurance.
• CPO - Certified Pool Operator (Preferred).
• Boiler license (Preferred).

• Responsible for performing maintenance functions that maintain and enhance property value.
• Work with the maintenance team and management to ensure quality of work meets owner standards.
• Perform tasks associated with electrical, plumbing and carpentry.
• Repair and treat structures such as showers, sinks, appliances, doors, cabinets, walls and building exteriors.
• Pool maintenance and testing may be applicable.
• Make units ready for new move-ins.

About the Opportunity

• Job Title: Maintenance Technician
• Pay Rate Range: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00/salary
• Location: Burnsville, MN
• Schedule: 1st Shift, Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm, O/T is optional. On call every 6 weeks. The employee will need to be available for after-hour emergencies from Monday through the following Monday every six weeks. They will be called on their company cell phone.
