Job summary

Spherion Staffing, LLC is seeking an Industrial Maintenance & Controls Technician to support manufacturing operations. You will troubleshoot, repair, and optimize PLC/HMI systems and mechanical equipment to minimize downtime.

The ideal candidate has hands-on PLC programming, electrical troubleshooting, pneumatics, hydraulics, welding, and machining experience. Rotating 2-on/2-off schedule; wage up to $38/hr depending on experience.

Qualifications

• Must have hands-on maintenance experience in a manufacturing setting.
• Strong electrical troubleshooting and PLC/HMI knowledge required.
• Experience with conveyors, motors, hydraulics, pneumatics is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair electrical/electronic control systems.

maintenance technician | 1st and 2nd shift

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Industrial Maintenance & Controls Technician to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will support daily production operations by troubleshooting, repairing, and optimizing operational control systems and mechanical equipment.

The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with PLC programming, electrical troubleshooting, pneumatics, hydraulics, welding, and machining. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and value safety and quality, we want to hear from you!

Schedule: Rotating 2 on, 2 off, 3 on schedule

• 1st Shift: 6:00 AM - 6:00 PM 2-2-3 ROTATING
• 2nd Shift: 6:00 PM - 6:00 AM 2-2-3 ROTATING
• Wage: Up to $38.00/hr depending on experience level

Responsibilities:

• Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve complex electrical and electronic control system issues (analog/digital).
• Maintain, program, and improve PLC and HMI systems, as well as computer network communications.
• Install, calibrate, clean, and repair process control instruments, pressure switches, flow tubes, and gauges to minimize downtime.
• Service and repair VFDs, electric motors, starters, and servo motors in a production environment.
• Repair and maintain machinery, including pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
• Operate fabrication tools such as lathes, drill presses, and grinders to repair or modify equipment.
• Utilize arc and wire-feed welders for necessary equipment modifications and repairs.
• Maintain equipment efficiency by adhering to a Planned Maintenance Program.
• Partner with Quality Assurance to support all food safety programs, ensuring compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
• Actively monitor production liNes to optimize machine settings, speeds, and performance.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment through strict adherence to safety protocols and regular housekeeping.
• Document work order procedures for new equipment and log all system modifications.

Working hours: 6:0 AM - 6:0 PM (Various Shifts Available)
