Job summary

QPS Employment Group is seeking a Maintenance Technician in Bartlett, IL, offering a wage of $62,400 - $83,200 per year on 1st or 2nd shift (hours 4:00am-2:00pm or 4:00pm-2:00am). This direct-hire role requires reading electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic schematics and performing repairs on CNC equipment and PLCs.

Responsibilities include using manuals and vendor resources to diagnose issues, maintaining CMMS records, and supporting installations and part requisitions to minimize

Qualifications

• Experience with Lock Out / Tag Out techniques.
• Able to effectively communicate with production supervisors and machine operators.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret electrical schematics ranging from low voltage to 480V-3 phase.
• Understand and interpret mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic schematics.
• Research machine issues using manuals, documents, and vendor resources.
• Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems, including CNC equipment and PLCs.
• Use electrical testing devices and programming equipment to perform repairs.
• Participate in continuous improvement and problem solving with team members.
• Assist in requisition of spare and repair parts to minimize downtime.
• Support equipment installations and removals.
• Record repairs and maintenance in the CMMS.
