Job summary

fairlife, LLC is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support our dairy processing facility. You will troubleshoot, repair, and maintain plant equipment, support site infrastructure, and ensure safe, efficient operations during 12-hour night shifts with rotating weekends.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma, basic electrical/mechanical repair skills, and experience with hydraulics and pneumatics. Proficiency in MS Office and plant controls software is preferred, and flexibility to work

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Familiar with plant equipment.
• Proficient with MS Outlook, Office, Word and Excel.
• At least 3 years’ experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, mechanics and basic electrical repair.
• Post-secondary education or a technical trade certificate is an asset.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain plant equipment, facility structures, grounds and utilities
• Perform work order repairs, preventive maintenance inspections and repairs, equipment rebuilds, replacements, and adjustments
• Set up and operate welders, drill press, grinder, hand tools, and other metal working equipment
• Participate in plant safety, health, and environmental programs
• Fabrication, innovation and modification of new and existing equipment
• Other duties as assigned
