Job summary

PSG is a global pump, metering and dispensing-solution expert seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to maximize facility and equipment uptime across plant utilities and machinery in a dynamic manufacturing setting.

You will diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic faults, perform preventive maintenance on air compressors, dryers, forklifts, and PIT equipment, and support installation tasks with a focus on safety and efficiency, using CMMS to log work orders.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years related on-the-job facilities experience required.
• High School Diploma or GED required; an Associate degree is preferred.
• Strong problem-solving and diagnostic skills with ability to troubleshoot unfamiliar equipment.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance and repairs on air compressors, dryers, forklifts, PIT equipment, and pallet jacks.
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic faults; perform necessary repairs.

Working closely with the Maintenance Supervisor, this role executes daily work orders while continuously driving departmental efficiency and strict EH&S (Environmental Health & Safety) compliance.Education:High School Diploma or GED required.Associate degree in electrical, electronic, mechanical, or maintenance engineering technology preferred.Experience:Minimum 4 years related on-the-job facilities experience required.Forklift experience required.Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:Proficient in mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and hydraulic systems, as well as welding, shop machinery, and pneumatic/hand tools.Proficient in general maintenance work such as, but not limited to, patching, painting, framing, and concrete repair.Ability to follow detailed instructions to complete routine procedures and/or operate standard equipment.Ability to use a computer and digital Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) to log work and track parts.Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members, internal customers, external vendors, and suppliers.Strong problem-solving and diagnostic skills, with the ability to troubleshoot unfamiliar equipment and develop solutions independently when manuals and instructions are unavailable.Demonstrate high attention to detail, consistently meeting work order requirements and daily goals safely and accurately.Duties and Responsibilities:Perform comprehensive maintenance and repairs on air compressors, dryers, forklifts, all Powered Industrial Truck (PIT) equipment, and pallet jacks.Assists with installation of new equipment by preparing the site utilities, clearing the space, handling of equipment into final locations, and making final utility terminations.Diagnose and performs the necessary mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and pneumatic repairs on production and non-production equipment.Support general building maintenance and renovations, such as drywall installation, framing, painting, and office furniture relocation.Execute scheduled preventative maintenance on all production and facility equipment according to manufacturer and company guidelines.Install and maintain utility lines, including air, water, gas, and electrical systems.Complete and document CMMS work orders accurately while upholding all safety and quality standards.Analyze departmental KPIs to recommend data-driven improvements to equipment and workflows.Adheres strictly to the Company's Safety Program, including NFPA 70E Arc Flash safety, Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), and appropriate safety protocols.Must be knowledgeable of and comply with the Company’s policies and procedures.Maintain attendance as required by company policies.Work overtime as required.Performs all other duties as assigned.Travel: Generally, travel is not requiredPhysical Requirements: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee for successful performance of the essential functions of this job.
