Job summary

Excel Fitness is seeking a Team Player to perform maintenance and repair on fitness club equipment at multiple club locations across the region. You will manage preventive maintenance, respond to work orders in CMMS, and assist with facility upgrades as needed.

The role requires a valid driver's license, 1–3 years of related experience, and basic trade skills in painting, carpentry, and electrical/AV work. Travel is 100% to serve our gym locations nationwide.

Qualifications

Must be at least 18 years old.
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Valid state driver’s license, proof of insurance, and clean driving record.
1–3 years of related maintenance work experience.
Basic painting, carpentry, flooring, ceiling, low voltage electrical, door hardware, light plumbing, and AV knowledge.
Self-starter with time management and deadline discipline.
Ability to diagnose problems and propose solutions via critical thinking.
Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Basic computer skills; MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) required.

Responsibilities

Maintain fitness club equipment and facility systems.
Repair and maintain equipment including, but not limited to, fitness, hydro-massage, tanning equipment.
Use CMMS to track work orders and monitor SLA adherence.
Purchase parts and supplies as required and manage budget up to $250.
Travel to multiple club locations for preventive maintenance and repairs.
Ensure safety and OSHA compliance in all tasks.
