Pay Range: $29-34.50 per hour (plus shift premium if applicable)

Shift: 2-2-3 Rotating Nights (6PM-6AM)

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician 1 to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing routine maintenance tasks, troubleshooting equipment issues, and ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities. This role requires a focus on safety, strong attention to detail, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance tasks on machinery and equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and plumbing issues.
• Conduct inspections to identify potential problems and prevent breakdowns.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs.
• Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient operation of the facility.
• Follow safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
• Other items as directed by management.
  
  

Level 1 Skills Include

• NFPA Safety Arc Flash (1+), LOTO Procedure.
• Multimeter Usage (check voltage and resistance).
• Basic mechanical skills- pneumatics, pulleys, tap/die, bolt sizing, pipe threading.
• Welding and cutting (plasma and torch).
• Basic torque requirements.
• Hydraulic electromechanical systems.
• PM Basics.
• Basic Electrical- AC/DC fundamentals, trouble shooting, reading schematics.
• PLC logic and basic troubleshooting.
• Motor wiring.
• Rigging, hand signals, slings, and crane fundamentals.
  
  

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification preferred.
• Proven experience as a Maintenance Technician or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communication skills, including reading, writing, and speaking basic English.
  
  

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift and carry heavy objects.
• Ability to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods.
• Comfortable working in various environments, including outdoor and indoor settings.
