Job summary

Benchmark Senior Living’s Bay Square at Yarmouth is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join our team. This full-time role covers Sunday through Thursday with shifts 7:30–3:30 or 8:00–4:00, and a pay range of $20.50–$22.00 per hour.

You will perform repairs, support preventive maintenance, and report to the Maintenance Director about building and equipment conditions. You will handle general maintenance tasks such as light electrical, painting, and carpentry, ensure safe chemical handling, and

• Familiar with emergency procedures if chemicals are misused.
• Demonstrates the interest and ability to learn new skills and techniques as needed.
• Demonstrates proper usage of chemicals and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Understands the practices surrounding proper handling of biohazardous waste.
• Maintains a clean laundry room in an orderly manner and stores chemicals in accordance with product or supervisor instruction.
• Follows standards and practices for specific chemicals.
• Demonstrates excellent mechanical skills.
• Works effectively within the work-order system.
• Performs general maintenance work (light electrical, painting, carpentry, etc.)

Bay Square at Yarmouth is looking for a Maintenance Technician to join our team!

Full Time Sunday-Thursday either 7:30-3:30 or 8am-4pm

$20.50-22.00/HR

In this role the Maintenance Technician performs repairs (both minor and major). You will implement regular and preventive maintenance programs that promote a sense of well-being and aesthetic appeal for residents and staff and communicate with the Maintenance Director on the condition of buildings and equipment.
