Job summary

Aspire Talent Solutions is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to support our Wooster, OH manufacturing operations. The role focuses on maintaining and repairing equipment used to transform sheet metal into HVAC components, on the production floor and in maintenance areas.

You will fulfill work orders, perform preventative maintenance, install and maintain equipment, and troubleshoot a range of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; apprenticeship preferred.
• Associates degree in mechanical, electrical, or industrial maintenance is a plus.
• At least three years of experience maintaining manufacturing equipment.
• Knowledge of pneumatics and hydraulics is essential.
• HVAC systems experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Fulfill maintenance work orders and perform preventative maintenance.
• Install and maintain production machines and plant equipment.
• Perform emergency and scheduled maintenance on production equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Diagnose issues, replace components, and adjust machinery as needed.
• Identify faulty operations or materials and report for action.

Job description

Location: Wooster, OH

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team. This role is integral in ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing processes. The successful candidate will work on the production floor and maintenance areas, focusing on maintaining and repairing equipment used in the transformation of sheet metal into HVAC components.

Key Responsibilities:

• Fulfill maintenance work orders and conduct preventative maintenance on machinery, equipment, and facilities.
• Install and maintain production machines and plant equipment.
• Perform both emergency and scheduled maintenance repairs on production equipment.
• Troubleshoot, repair, and enhance mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Diagnose issues, replace or repair components, and adjust machinery and workstations.
• Identify faulty operations or defective materials and report them for further action.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Adherence to safety regulations and ability to maintain a clean work environment.
• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, with strong interpersonal abilities.
• Proficiency in documenting maintenance work and repairs.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Flexibility to work extended hours and different shifts as necessary.
• Ability to respond promptly to equipment and building emergencies.
• Familiarity with Safety Data Sheets in a manufacturing context.
• Forklift certification is required.

Educational and Experience Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED is required; completion of a craft apprenticeship is preferred.
• An Associate's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Maintenance is advantageous.
• At least three years of experience in manufacturing equipment maintenance, with knowledge of pneumatics and hydraulics.
• Experience in HVAC systems is considered a plus.
