Job summary

The Keystone Distinction Group is seeking a Maintenance Technician to keep our Wooster production floor running smoothly. You will perform preventive and corrective maintenance on sheet metal HVAC components and related plant equipment, and support reliability initiatives.

The role requires safe work practices, strong problem-solving, and the ability to work flexible shifts. Experience with pneumatics/hydraulics and forklift certification preferred.

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team. This role is integral in ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing processes. The successful candidate will work on the production floor and maintenance areas, focusing on maintaining and repairing equipment used in the transformation of sheet metal into HVAC components.

Key Responsibilities:

• Fulfill maintenance work orders and conduct preventative maintenance on machinery, equipment, and facilities.
• Install and maintain production machines and plant equipment.
• Perform both emergency and scheduled maintenance repairs on production equipment.
• Troubleshoot, repair, and enhance mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Diagnose issues, replace or repair components, and adjust machinery and workstations.
• Identify faulty operations or defective materials and report them for further action.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Educational and Experience Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED is required; completion of a craft apprenticeship is preferred.
• An Associate's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Maintenance is advantageous.
• At least three years of experience in manufacturing equipment maintenance, with knowledge of pneumatics and hydraulics.
• Experience in HVAC systems is considered a plus.
