Wisconsin Plastic Products is seeking a Maintenance Technician for their Plymouth, WI facility. This full-time position involves maintaining production machinery and performing repairs as necessary. Suitable candidates will possess an Associate degree and have extensive manufacturing experience, particularly in electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical systems.
Summary: The Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing repairs and maintenance on the equipment within our facility. This role includes a training period on 1st shift.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. This position is very active and requires standing, walking, bending, and kneeling. The employee must frequently lift and/or move items up to 75 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

The Position:We’re looking for full-time Maintenance Technician 2nd Shift.
Schedule:
Essential Functions
1. Perform diversified duties to maintain production machines and the plant facility’s equipment.
2. Perform emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production and scheduled maintenance repairs of production equipment during machine service.
3. Ability to read and understand blueprints, technical repair manuals, and electrical prints.
4. Must be able to operate a forklift and scissor lift.
5. Perform simple machinist duties and responsibilities.
6. Perform mechanic skills including, but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, troubleshooting and repair of production machines.
7. Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.
8. Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test and make adjustments.
9. Assist in performing regular preventive maintenance on machines, equipment and plant facilities.
10.Use a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters and material handling equipment in performing duties.
11.Detect faulty operations, defective material and report those and any unusual situations to proper supervision.
12.Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas.
